About me
I'm María Itatí Pignatelli
I am a translator and editor specializing in technical, medical, and educational content, with a strong background in localizing marketing, UX/UI, and IT texts. My approach blends precision, creativity, and cultural sensitivity to ensure each message reaches its audience clearly and effectively. I have worked on the development and editing of the Spanish Language Arts curriculum for Chicago Public Schools, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of educational materials for all K-12 levels. Additionally, I have extensive experience in translating medical and clinical research texts, with over 200,000 words translated in the pharmaceutical and regulatory fields.
My career also includes subtitling, transcription, and quality control for AI-generated texts, as well as the translation of corporate and communications documents. I have collaborated with leading companies such as AWS, Kaspersky, and Snap, adapting technical and marketing content for diverse markets.
Beyond my scientific and technical translation training, I have expanded my expertise through courses in clinical trials, research data management, and UX/UI design. I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to continue growing professionally.
